Visited 05.08.2023 for the first time on the way to visit family. Superb food and drink from the cafe, all home-made and delicious served by friendly and efficient staff. Good selection of outdoor products and plants.

Visited Whitegates for the first time after reading about it in the Northern Echo, we had a lovely lunch in the cafe and the food and service was excellent. Great shop and plant selection. I would say one of the nicest garden centres we have visited. Will definitely be going again.

Our favourite cafe, visited again today and had breakfast. Super efficient friendly staff (Sophie the young waitress was absolutely excellent), food and service outstanding. Until next time….keep up the good work.
