I have always enjoyed this garden centre, the variety of flowers, the fact that it has a pet shop inside is very handy. What brought me however to write a review is that today I was disappointed by the service at the restaurant. The lady who served us drinks seemed acting as if we were somewhat of an annoyance, I felt talked down to which was quite off putting. I did not feel welcome. Can I recommend that either this is not the write position for this young lady, or that perhaps she needs to attend a good customer service course? Some genuine humility, kindness, ability to genuinely welcoming customers? I had to wonder if this was personal - could it be because we were foreigners? In these days, in some places, foreigners are not so welcome - or would she have been so with anybody else? I rated the service in the restaurant - I have never had problems in other areas of the garden centre.
