I felt like I was just pottering around someones back garden...meandering paths: Not at all commercialised/'samey' as larger g.centres,which was refreshing. I went to purchase a particular plant- was taken straight to it & given details of its origin, care etc- it was so quaint that i decided to potter for more plants & wasnt dissappointed with the range.
The staff (a lovely spaniel & owner!) greeted me, advised me of the layout, and were on hand with advice about how to care for the plants i was interested in- the knowledge was amazing. Plant prices were reasonable, parking easy. I wish Id discovered it earlier, but nowI have found it, it will be my first port of call.
