Find your garden centre

Dobbies Garden Centres Rugby started life as Bernhard's Corner Nursery growing ornamental and fruit trees in tandem with a cash and carry trade nursery. Then owned by Jeffery Bernhard, legendary founder of the Garden Center Association, it is located in the heart of Warwickshire by the 'straight mile' intersection on the A45 - its proximity to the ancient Fosse Way leading to many a speculation about ghostly appearances around the site!

Visited on Saturday of the Bank Holiday weekend , decided to have a drink in the café, oh dear tables not cleared, the prep counters both looked as though a child had been let loose & run riot. Wont' be going there again

We visited the garden centre on Saturday 3rd Dec 16 with our 8 year old granddaughter to see Father Christmas , what a big disappointment and mistake that was ! He was there alright but only if you were prepared to pay £9.95 ( per child ) for breakfast or tea with him and then only if it was pre-booked. VERY BIG MISTAKE to have stopped the scouts from being in the garden centre. We USED to be regular visitors to Blooms but not anymore. Food awful , even something simple like scones were undercooked , oh yes we complained and had fresh ones brought to us , also undercooked !! We have taken dirty cups and spoons back and been given lame excuses ie dishwasher not washing properly , they are all like that !! Enough is enough , there are plenty of other GOOD garden centres around this area where us and lots of other people we know will be visiting in future. No Father Christmas and 1 very very disappointed 8 year old . That's it for us.
