I've often visited the restaurant at Dobbies Cirencester and have usually end up buying some bits and bobs at the same time.
Yesterdays visit was different. I've just had a foot operation and was looking for somewhere to visit with family. We phoned ahead to ask if there was a wheelchair to borrow - no problem, they have more than one. Was treated like royalty with a member of staff collecting me from the car by the tills/Reception while my husband parked taking the stress out of the situation in the wet and windy weather! The place is spacious and there was no awkward reversing in and out of tight corners in my wheelchair.
There is some new building in the far corner since our last visit and some lovely new gift wear to explore.
Service in the restaurant was very friendly a lot quicker than it has been on previous occasions and I was very pleased to find a sofa to recline on for a break.
All in all an excellent outing. We'll be back soon.

We went on a survey mission in readiness for a large purchase next month and then made the mistake to stop for a coffee and a sandwich . Excellent garden centre but a pity same cannot be said for the coffee shop , miserable faces , extremely slow service even just for a coffee no greetings , no please or thank you and to top it off poor food and coffee .
Will definitely return for the garden side of the business but not for the food and beverage !

We have visited 3 times in recent weeks, researching garden statues, a fairly expensive purchase. We found Dobbie's, Cirencester, the best price around, including comparisons. The staff have been more than helpful, but in no way pushy, which helped! The atmosphere at the centre is relaxing and the restaurant serves excellent, homemade meals, with great offers for us seniors on Tuesdays! Highly recommend a visit!
