Charella Gardens

Received a lemon tree as a gift - it was compressed into an 8" square box - when finally freed the plant was 24 inch by 22 inch - branches had been bent back and tied roughly to a centre trellis - some of the branches had been cut/broken - a lot of broken leaves and loose lemons and the plant looks very unhappy - leaves have not relaxed out and most still are lying in a distorted plane and will probably die. The box had been poorly protected with bubble wrap so it may have been damaged in transit but it was far too small a box and would have required a considerable effort to have forced the plant into it in the first place. To cap it all no message to say who the present was from.
