Haskins - Snow Hill Garden Centre

As a wheelchair user I find a lot of garden centres a bit of a problem, always having to ask people to move things out of my way. Also there seems to be no thought about people in wheelchairs or people with pushchairs when large bulky items are just in the walk ways etc. When my partner and visited Haskins-Snowhill Garden Centre we were both taken back by the thought that has went into the layout and the staff were very friendly. It was a pleasure for me as a wheelchair user to be able to go around on my own. Not once did I have to ask any member of staff to move items blocking my progress around the garden centre. When I was sitting looking at items on a shelf which was out of my reach and my partner was not with me, a member of staff came over to and asked if there was anything I wanted taken off a shelf for a closer look. All the staff could not have been more helpful. We are planning our next trip in the next few days.
