It is the best nursery we go to. The bad reviews criticise the owner for taking car of his plants. He takes care of his stock and talk to him because he is very knowledgable. In fairness, would the bad reviewers like it if it was their business. This nursery is for serious gardeners, not a centre selling clothing and other household items. Go to Bents for that with the children.

I have bought all my plants, shrubs and trees from here for many years because I know I will always get top quality products. As an amateur gardener myself, I have benefited considerably from the skill and expertise of Eric (the proprietor) and have avoided many a gardening faux pas thanks to his good advice. Not just someone who sells plants but a real horticultural expert. Thank you. p.s. range of plants is amazing.

I love this nursery when I am going for a purpose e.g a fantastic selection of winter bedding or a particular plant. I wouldn’t dream of taking my young grandchildren they would be bored silly.I have always found the staff to be very helpful when I have asked them questions about their plants and I have never felt intimidated. If I had one suggestion I would like there to be a toilet nothing fancy just an outdoor one would suffice. If I wanted a large garden centre where the plants cost a fortune and you don’t get much change out of a tenner for two lattes and a couple of biscuits and children can run around we have enough of those in the area but the plants never seem to flourish as well as the Marbury plants.
