Merriments plant centre has an excellent selection of plants for sale and specialises in the more unusual varieties. Many of the plants grown at Merriments own nursery can be seen in the 4 acre gardens (which are open to the public) and can also be purchased from the plant centre. Many of the plants are labeled in the garden for easy identification.

Merriments Garden Centre is an excellent source of ideas - both from the beautiful gardens and the extensive collection available to purchase. The plants can be a little pricey but are in excellent condition and there are many that you cannot find in more main stream garden centres. I have bought many plants - which once palnted at home have also beeen a nice reminder of an excellent visit to Merriments.
I regularly visit to find that special gift for a friend's birthday or Christmas present. The shop offers a lovely selection of items - all at very good prices.
A visit to the cafe rounds of an enjoyable visit - with a wide selection of cooked meals and some cakes that are simply too good to miss.
I thoroughly recommend a visit - well worth the journey!
