BLOG; Planning for next year
In the closing weeks of the year with little to do out of doors this is the gardener’s opportunity to reflect on the successes of the past year and plan the coming years gardening wows.
The best place to start that all important planning and general gardening day dreaming traditionally are examining the seed racks at the Garden Centre which are full to bursting with temptations. From the seed of frilly sweet tasting Brussel Sprout ‘Petit Posy’ through to purple Globe Artichoke ‘Violet de Provence’ and with many hardy herbaceous plants needing a cold spell to break dormancy there will be plenty of enticement. From Achillea’s giving broad plates of colour through summer to the subtle evening scented Oenothera ‘Wedding Series’.
Whatever you dream about over this festive period it won’t be long before you can start putting plans into action in just a few weeks time.
