Plants are our pride and joy at Pengethley, and we try to extend this to our planteria. We do not just buy in “looking good” plants, but try to stock traditional garden plants 12 months of the year in our extensive a-z range. The planteria has an extensive choice of A - Z of shrubs, ground plants, herbaceous plants, roses, climbers, fruit and specimen trees, bedding, alpines and the more unusual plants.

Dark, dirty and cold. Lots of old stock that's filthy. Very cold in the winter. Lights where not switched on, couldn't find any staff so I had to use my phone torch to look at products on the shelf. Soup was cold and very salty. Lovely variety of plants

I love going to Pengethley garden centre. The plant range is really good, from the plants we all know to plants I've never seen before. All plants on display are in really good condition. The staff are ever so helpful and if you have a question that they're not quite sure about, they will go find out for you. I go at least once a year and come home with more than I go in for. This year I will have gone 3 times. The prices I find are very reasonable. If you are on the lookout for a new garden centre to try, I highly recommend Pengethley.

I always find the staff to be friendly and helpful. The quality of the plants are always outstanding. The restaurant serves lovely food.
