Really nice place but very busy at weekends, wide selection of product a bit pricey., but you do get quality. Fully support the no dogs policy, fed up with owners thinking dogs are people, and apologising for poor dog control with a soppy smile. Meals are good especially the breakfast. Definitely worth a visit.

My review focus is the withdrawal of your dog friendly policy. I was told that it was changed because irresponsible dog owners were allowing their pets to foul on displayed goods and floor areas without clearing up. I used to take my dog there regularly on a lead and there was never any problem whatsoever. I always made sure that she was given the opportunity to do her business before we arrived and if all owners did the same, it would solve the problem. I now go to another garden centre which is totally dog friendly. In the summer, displayed notices say, Please do not leave your dogs in the car in hot weather. We welcome dogs. Also, there is a designated area for dogs and owners to sit and eat. It is very clean and comfortable with dogbeds and bowls of water provided. FANTASTIC PROVISION and great for public relations. My point is - If a different garden centre can organise and maintain this service, why can't Woodcote Green?
