Wyevale Garden Centres was a chain of garden centres in the United Kingdom. The company was founded in 1932 and has grown to become one of the largest garden centre chains in the UK. Wyevale operates over 140 garden centres across the country, offering a wide range of plants, gardening products, furniture, and tools.

In 2018, the Wyevale Garden Centres chain was sold to Terra Firma Capital Partners, a private equity firm. Following the sale, several of the stores were rebranded under new names, including Dobbies Garden Centres and Hillier Nurseries. As of 2021, the Wyevale brand no longer exists, but many of its former locations continue to operate under new ownership.

  • In July 2014, the company revealed plans to change its name to Wyevale Garden Centres.
  • In May 2018, the company's investor Terra Firma put it up for sale, either as a whole or as individual garden centres.
  • In August 2018, eight of Wyevale's biggest garden centres, including Bicester and Cardiff, were sold to Blue Diamond. Five centres were also sold to individual buyers, and Dobbies Garden Centres agreed to purchase five sites in England.
  • In May 2019, Wyevale sold two centres to Blackbrooks Garden Centres. That same month, Dobbies Garden Centres acquired 37 Wyevale locations, making it the largest garden centre company in the UK.
  • In September 2019, Wyevale announced the sale of its remaining centres to British Garden Centres, resulting in the end of the Wyevale Garden Centres brand.

Wyevale Garden Centres was known for its wide selection of plants and gardening products, as well as its commitment to customer service. The company offered a variety of services to help customers with their gardening needs, including plant advice, landscaping services, and garden design consultations. Additionally, many of the stores featured cafes and restaurants, making them popular destinations for both gardening enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
