PLant of the Month - Japanese Anemone29 July 2011
Japanese Anemones (Anemone japonica) are fantastic plants for flowering in late summer and autumn. They are long lived and trouble free in well drained soil, flowering for weeks on end. Colours range from snow white to deep pink and red and include both single and double flowering types. General height - 45 to 60cm (18” to 24”) but there are shorter or taller varieties to choose from – ‘White Giant’ growing up to 120cm (4ft)!
