Notcutts Garden Centre-St Albans

I visit this garden centre for several reasons although it is not the closest, the biggest or has the largest range of products. I have Sage membership that gives me a 10% discount on all products and two free coffees or teas a month and a similar promotion on lunches every few months. When I come to shop for plants, bird food, compost, tools or seeds, I usually find what I am looking for. I always find the staff friendly and willing to help. When I visit with my wife, we will have a coffee and a fruit scone and occasionally lunch in the restaurant, sometimes we meet up with family or friends there. The food is OK. We often visit with our grandchildren, (several under six years old). They love to see the tropical fish, rats, mice, hamsters and birds in the pet shop and always get to choose a book from the children's book store. Parking is easy and there is always plenty of space. This Notcutts centre is always at the top of my list when I have an hour or so to kill.
