A great garden centre that has grown rapidly over the years. Great choice and quality of plants etc...
We always go home with more than we intended to buy. The only gripe I have is that the old ladies on the tills are soooooo slow and totally miserable. They show no interest in the customer and don’t seem to have any personality at all.

I have never had issues with Rivendell in the 8 years I have been visiting. And I visit regularly. I always enjoy the my visits whether I am buying or not. I find that I f you treat people decently you are treated in the same way. Food for thought.

I have spent a fortune at this store over the last few years but my last experience of this store means I will probably NEVER go back again.
Just over a week ago we went there to purchase a couple of Xmas village light up ornaments, it was a Monday afternoon and we couldn't find the ones we wanted, no sign of any staff so I went to the tills to explain, my request for assistance was met with tuts and huffs, eventually someone turned up. We were told the ones we wanted were out of stock and none expected before Xmas, we offered to buy the display but we're rather rudely told NO! Because of their attitude we dumped our basket of other items and left. We bought from elsewhere.
Unhappy, I found Notcutts website to email a complaint, there I found the items we wanted in stock! Now why couldn't the staff/manager advise there was a website or even order them in! Worst part is my complaint to customer services has also been ignored, not the actions of a good company. AVOID!
