Trentham Garden Centre

Myself and husband visited Blue Diamond last week, the food is delicious and the staff are so welcoming and very polite. This place is amazing. Under these difficult times the staff made us feel very relaxed and we will certainly return.

Visited for breakfast with my husband and granddaughter. After we were shown to our table we were told that a waiter would come to take our order, after waiting about 20mins I had to go and find someone. After been told he would be 2 mins I had to go and ask again having waited for a further 10 mins. The waiter came with a paper and pencil and took our order, 2 small breakfasts with tea and a latte and a kids breakfast with scrambled egg. After 30 mins wait a girl brought out 2 small breakfasts and returned to the kitchen. We waited for our drinks and my grand daughters breakfast, when it didn't arrive I had to go and find someone to ask he said it would be 2 mins. By this time my husband and I had to give our granddaughters breakfast from our plates. I asked again for my granddaughters breakfast. It eventually arrived just as I was cleaning my granddaughter ready to go, a round of brown toast with a fried egg on top, not what I ordered. I told the waiter and was told "this is what you ordered" then as I was putting on my coat the drinks arrived. When I went to pay the bill they tried to charge me for 3 breakfasts and drinks. Having spoke to the manager he didn't believe my time waiting and made excuses of technology break down, how a paper and pencil can break down I don't know. He did cancel our bill but I think he missed the point of my complaint. Very bad experience from start to finish.
