Last time I wrote a review it was quite negative about the restaurant I have visited several times since and found it much better.I visited today and the restaurant was extremely busy I spoke to a very pleasant young man who was obviously in charge of allocating seats etc he advised me that as I hadn’t booked I would have to wait about 5 minutes which I was happy to do so I returned at my allocated time and a table was waiting for me.I thought that the service may be a little slow because of number of people there but it was very good and I didn’t have to wait very long at all .My meal was delicious I had the prawn sandwich and it was delicious the salad that accompanied it was also lovely I had ordered some chips and when they arrived they were piping hot.The service was excellent .I went into the actual garden centre and found a very helpful young man(whose name I didn’t get) who helped me to get 2 plum trees although he said he didn’t normally work on that section he very kindly took them to the tills for me and advised me about delivery services .I then went to the Rose section where a young man called Tim helped and advised me in choosing trees he also offered to take them for me but I felt I could manage. On arriving at the tills I was lucky to find Stewart the delivery driver who after discussion arranged to deliver my trees and bushes the following day just in time for my grandson to come (after some coercion) and dig them in for me on the Saturday .Stewart also advised me that he would phone me to let me know what time he would be arriving .All in all I had a lovely afternoon at Fryers with all of the staff going out of their way to help me get what I needed .I drove home content knowing all I had to do when I got home was wait for my delivery. As a disabled person I don’t think I could have managed without the help and support that I received.

My friend and I booked afternoon tea at The Rosary Restaurant on Friday 25 June and I just wanted to express our thanks for the wonderful Afternoon tea I have been a customer at Fryers over many years but have not had a meal at the restaurant for a couple of Covid years. Please could you pass on my thanks to all the Staff and to the Chef for the most delicious Afternoon 'Tea for Two' it all was a great delight. Also we were amazed at the cost which was so reasonable. Thank you all. Vivienne Plummer

I have just read a review where the person was saying that the food was poor I can’t believe .My friends and I always come to Fryers we make a day of it, we have lunch then a walk around the garden centre for a couple of hours and back for afternoon tea and scones .We come because the food is so good and just love the rest of the centre especially at Christmas. We visit a lot of garden centres in Cheshire and in my humble opinion none of them are up to the standard of Fryers especially in the restaurant.Love the staff all helpful and polite
