The business is now run by Gareth Fryer, grandson of the founder and is one of the largest producers in the country. As in 1912, it is still Fryer's aim to provide what they consider to be the best varieties of roses for garden display and all round reliability.

I have been a customer of Fryers for many years, and have always found the staff very helpful, courteous and friendly. The quality of their plants exceeds other nearby garden centres, and the store is well stocked with garden accessories, plus there is always a good selection of containers ready planted with seasonal plants. The store also has the usual non-gardening items eg cards, books, gifts, clothing, furniture etc. I have always been pleased with the food in the Restaurant. In conclusion I would not hesitate to recommend Fryers for a lovely shopping experience situate near the fascinating town of Knutsford.

It was my first visit the garden centre and was delited ! - ecept for when I went for a meal... The staff ere great the food also BUT one thig upset me it was the way the staff were talked to by the manager- Staff should NEVER be shouted at in any business, but in front of customers NEVER! I was very upset and once I had settled the bill, left- never again if this what happens .

Visited today to buy hybrid roses for our new garden. We got tremendous help from Aidan, a very enthusiastic and committed young man who was a tremendous help in refining our choices. We will certainly seek him out on our next visit.
