Klondyke Garden Centre - Woodmansey

We went to Klondyke Garden centre in beverley for an easter treat of afternoon tea for the family, and it was a complete waste of time and money! fair enough we bought it on the buy one get one free offer for the four of us, but you still expect good service never the less right? bascially the problem was my daughter was eating a scone and inside it was a foriegh object, about 2cm long, which really shouldnt have been in a plain scone... i mean somebody could have choked on it. In the end we made a complaint and the cafe staff said they'd send it off for testing and apologised. the manager told us it was buy one get one free so whats our problem, he said the staff were busy so its not their fault and basically rushed us away. i was not impressed at all! the four of us were very dissapointed with the customer service, we would definately not recommend wasting your money in that cafe! the food looks tasty and appealing but as i said you dont know what your about to bite into...
