This store used to be famous for its wide range of plants and in the winter the Christmas displays. The place has gone through a refurbishment lately and now you will find it hard to find many plants and their displays are rivaled by Poundland. Moral is so low, the staff at Dismaland looked much happier. It can hardly be called a garden centre, cheap tat centre would be more appropriate if it wasn't so expensive.

We called yesterday and needed a wheelchair following a recent major operation. My wife had to complete forms and give ID which they said was for health aznd safety but more likely to be sold to a mobility company who could then pester us. When my wife asked for the personal information back the person on reception was very rude and threw the paperwork across the desk. Other customers also suffered this appalling abuse. The wheelchair was wobbly and dangerous. In store we asked the location of a certain item and the uninterested member of staff pointed vaguely in its direction at which point we decided not to bother and left. What a shame Wyevale have taken over this once pleasant garden centre.Looks as though it's going downhill fast. At Waitrose or Sainsbury if I need a wheelchair not only are there no forms but they even help you into it. From now on we will support the small independent garden centres
