Having just moved into the area my wife and myself went Dobbies as a neighbout said it was very good. so of we went and we were impressed with the lay out.so while the car had a hand wash on site. We had a good look round found the staff very helpfull and bought plants as you do in a garden centre we also had tea and a bite to eat which was excellent even though they were very busy with coach's of people nothing was to much trouble. I am a blue badge holder and the help i recieved was excellent. I can honestly say i will be back. I can only say how our day was and the help i recieved but its well laid out with health shop, cloths shops, shoe shop, flooring shop, food shop, disablity shop, so Dobbies has most things for everyone.

I have just had a very enjoyable afternoon out at Dobbies. My husband and I had set out to look for some ideas for plants for our pagoda, and to be honest we both were a little apprehensive about the visit. The reason for this is that I am getting over a bad back and have to use a wheel chair and to be honest the few times we have ventured out they have not been very enjoyable experiences. But not today day, to start with there was places to park for disabled persons that did not insist on you being a blue badge holder. Then the all the isles were big enough for a wheelchair to go down, and other shoppers could get past too. There was room for the chair in the restaurant and space to get around the tables, and the home made scones are to die for Nobody treat me as a inconvenience and nothing was too much trouble in fact everyone was very helpful and courteous. The choice of plants have left us in a quandary, so we will be back once we have decided. Thank you so much

A nice place for a wander round, even for me - not particularly a gardener, the shop has some unusual gifts especially at this time of year. There is a lovely food shop/farm shop with some special items and the best bit is the café!, fab food, good quality and fresh. The prices in the café are a little expensive buy very much worth it. A great place to have a coffee and a chat, there is a lovely section outside as well for the kids to play. Always easy to park.
