What can I say . This is meant to be a leisurely experience. But on the occasions I have been to dobbies aquatics , I have found the staff arrogant , I had a staff member shout at my daughter , she passed a box .. Apparently a barrier , barriers also consist of ..broken gates , trails of containers , the staff will threaten you with security if you pass their invisible no entry areas also I went in for some water for my tank , was talked to and shouted at for not knowing the delivery days . The staff , if they ever do decide to serve you , act like they are doing you a favour.. No customer care at all . Customers just seem to be in the way of their pass time / hobby .if you wish to ruin a perfectly good day.. Visit dobbies! Customer care is non existant !!!

Dobbies garden Centre at Barlborough near Chesterfield is an excellent Garden Centre. As well as the superb facilities, car parking, cafe and amenities the excellent range of seasonal garden plants, bulbs, trees and seeds is superb. There are always people on hand to point you in the right direction or to help to answer the gardening questions people have. It is a pleasure for me and my family to come to visit Dobbies. Its a day out looking around the gardening products, the beautiful plants and shrubs. We have got so many new ideas, planting schemes, new varieities of plants we have had the joy of choosing for our own gardens.
Now we are working on planting up a whole Park and Gardens which we have created in nearby Worksop and we will be coming to get our plants and seeds from Dobbies. Our projects at the OASIS Gardens are community projects for different age groups; one for children called 'Nature Quest', one for older people and one for families.
