Find your garden centre
Chilton Garden Centre opened in 1985, built on a site used for housing agricultural foodstuffs. The conservatory style shop is a distinctive landmark visible from the A34, whilst its antiques concession is a magnet for collectors and the miniature railway that operates on summer weekends equally attractive to little ones and the young at heart!

When I went last autumn a member of staff could not have been more helpful at finding me the best plants and at the best discounted prices. And the mature plants were of the highest quality. A first class set up unlike the rubbish you can get online purporting to be mature specimens, but when they arrive are far from it and often sickly too.

we go to chilton quite often but the service is poor, and often lots of things missing from the menu in the cafe. last tues we went, they had no toasted tea cakes, no jacket potatoes and worst of all no brown bread for toasties or cream teas, very disappointed. will not be going there in a hurry

The Garden centre is a nice little place for buying gardening related items . I usually visit it for tea /lunch. The menu is a little limited and sometimes the same specials/soup make it to the menu. However, the food is tasty and the service is good. I think it would be nice if they extended their menu and included more hot food .
