I needed a particular product to kill a certain type of weed. I knew exactly what I was looking for when a Homebase male employee appraoched me offering help. I said I was ok as I was looking for a weedkiller and knew what I wanted. The employee then proceeded to give me advise which was wrong even though I had been quite clear that I knew what I was looking for! Needless to say I left empty handed as I didn't like the way it was inferred that I didn't know what I was doing. I should have advised him to do an RHS course as I have done so that he could actually know what he was talking about. That said, I do go to Homebase garden centre. I just avoid the staff!
